Thankful for our November Series

Note: Week One Recap of this past weekend will be going up tomorrow @ 9:30 AM

Halloween has passed and with it, the time for tricks and treats are gone at least for a little while. Thanksgiving is now coming up fast but it also means our November Series is here!

This month, we want to cook up a big Recipe For Thanks with our preschoolers! Thinking about the things we’re thankful for is the key to a grateful heart.

Memory Verse: “I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart.” Psalm 111:1, ESV

Key Question: Who can you thank for everything?

Bottom Line: I can thank God for everything.

Basic Truth: God made me.

The Bottom lines.

I am thankful for God’s commandments.

I am thankful I can pray.

I am thankful for people who help me.

I am thankful God gives me what I need.

This month brings us to our series Refocus: Know where to look. where we take the time to explore Gratitude in all the things God has done for us!- Gratitude is a response to the character of God.

Have you taken the time to sit and think about all of the blessings in your life? God gave us each and every blessing because of the unconditional love he has for each and every one of us. He created a planet that’s perfectly and wonderfully made for all that live on it. Then, He sent His Son, Jesus, to that planet to die and be raised to life so He could have a forever relationship with you. Throughout the month, we’ll help kids refocus on all that God has done for them. Because when you know what God has done for you, YOU CAN BE GRATEFUL—ALWAYS. The connection between Gratitude and God’s character, as shown through God’s big story

With Thankfulness being the theme for this November, we cannot wait for all that is in store!
